Welcome to Dosbarth Coch - Nursery

Miss Powell, our HLTA, works closely with Mrs Reeve, our Early Years / Foundation Phase Lead, to lead our Nursery provision. Both classes are supported by our highly experienced Teaching Assistants, Mrs Butler and Mrs Stevens.

Dosbarth Coch (Nursery) and Dosbarth Oren (Reception and Year 1) share the Old Infant School Building, which has been refurbished to a high standard and is well resourced to support our Early Years provision. Under the leadership of Mrs Reeve, staff work collaboratively across both classes to create a nurturing, stimulating environment in which every child can flourish. While children benefit from opportunities to learn alongside and interact with older peers, learning experiences are carefully planned to meet the developmental needs of Nursery-aged children. This approach supports language development, confidence, independence and social skills, while ensuring that our youngest learners receive the care, guidance and play-based experiences that are appropriate for their stage of development.

Doors open 9:05 for a 9:15 start and the session ends at 11:45.  The children are handed over at the bottom gate to the infant yard.
