HomeâSchool Communication
Weâre here to help and want to make sure your messages reach the right person:
Absences or urgent messages? Please call or email the school officeânot your childâs teacher. Press 2 to report absences using our answerphone service.
Queries around attendance procedures, school dinners, payments for trips or fruit, requests for pre-loved uniform, please contact Mrs East; for help with booking parents evenings appointments, please contact Mrs Presley
Day-to-day questions or concerns? Your childâs teacher is your first point of contact for most matters, including concerns or complaints. Theyâll let you know if itâs appropriate to speak with the ALNCo, Deputy Headteacher, or Headteacher. Feel free to email or message your childâs class teacher via DoJo. If itâs important that the message is seen before school starts, please call the office instead, as teachers may be unavailable or unable to check messages early. You can request to meet with your child's class teacher at any time - please bear in mind that teachers are not available on staff meeting days or if they are leading a club.
Formal complaints are handled by the Headteacher at Stage B of our complaints procedure. If youâve already spoken to the class teacher and your concern has not been resolved, please contact the Headteacher in writing (email is fine).
Safeguarding concerns should be reported directly to the Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher. Please call or visit the school office.
